Background
After completing a re-brand for Santa Barbara's favorite empanada restaurant, I was given the opportunity to develop a new line of merchandise for another exceptional local business – Draughtsmen Aleworks.
The prompt began as relatively simple — design a graphic or series of graphics for the brewery to be printed on a short sleeve shirt. Working closely with Co-Founder and creative director Tami Snow, we quickly developed a more focused approach towards a refreshed visual identity with this merchandise release. 
Some of my design goals were as follows:
1.  Introduce something fun and playful while keeping the graphic targeted towards the main demographic of early to middle-aged adults in mind.
2. Incorporate some existing design elements with the new ones to keep the deliverable on brand.
3. Explore custom lettering in hopes of developing a new wordmark for the brewery.
