Independent Shakespeare Company is a small theater production team in LA working towards creating a more accessible experience within the performing arts. I chose to work with primarily typography to achieve a visual language that would stand out to all individuals regardless of whether they engage with theatre or not.
From a distance this poster catches the eye of the viewer with large outlined type in bright colors. Up close, the reader is given context of the festival through the usage of text from the plays as background texture.
